Paris city center pickup & drop off point

It is behind Opera Garnier: Rue Scribe or Rue Gluck

The spaces are limited so it is always better to have the driver details so that the client can check directly with the driver because the driver might be driving around while waiting for the space will be available.

Louvre parking / coach pickup point

Louvre coach parking is normally paid by coach company and should be used (underground parking).

Some drivers do not want to use it because the parking underground access is narrow and would like to avoid the collision.

Officially, it is not possible to drop off / pickup the clients outside (on the ground level), but some drivers might do it but KT cannot ask the driver to do so as it is not permitted.

Group cannot enter the city center. Coach drop off is at Place L’Etoile. Then the group needs to take tramway to access to City center where the Cathedral is located.

Avignon

Coach drop off is on northern part outside wall: Saint Benezet which allows coach to stay upto 30mins.
Once the coach drop off the clients, the coach needs to park at Coach parking at île de Piot if it is more than 30mins
When the group stays at Mercure Palais des Papes, we need to book porterage service (hotel staff takes care of suitcases with minivan). Regarding transportation to Avignon Centre Station:

We have received an official response stating that this station is located along the city walls, and boarding or alighting from buses in front of the station is strictly prohibited.
The groups should disembark near the Saint Bénézet drop off point and then either walk or take a city bus (1.4 euros one way) to the station.
In reality, it seems that some drivers do temporarily stop to drop off or pick up passengers, but city enforcement has become stricter, making this a very high-risk option.

1May to 15October/High season => Bus must park in the Gorguettes parking lot. The must then take the little train to go down with the group to the city

16October to 30April/Low season => Bus drops the group off at the gendarmerie roundabout (Avenue du 11 Novembre 1918, shown x on map) and the driver must park in the Gorguettes parking lot.

The group must walk 5 minutes to the ticket office (route in red on the map)
